Debra Bratt

Hi, I’m Debra, one of the support workers here at PCS SENDIASS. I am based within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight team but do support the help lines for the London Boroughs of Richmond and Kingston too

I’ve spent many years in different roles in the world of SEND and have been with SENDIASS for almost 10 years now. I bring my own lived experience of navigating the world of SEND which I believe helps me to better understand and support the families that use our service.

I work with families and young people on a 1:1 basis helping them navigate through their current situation. I also support families in tribunal situations.

One afternoon a week, you’ll find me either on the helpline taking calls or dealing with emails to our information service. I’ve recently started running face-to-face clinics too.

I love my job and there’s nothing better than that feeling when you’ve helped a family improve their situation. I’m grateful to work with such a great bunch of people too and feel privileged to be part of the team.
